RCBC Waives InstaPay Fees on Pulz and DiskarTech Apps From July

By Fintech News Philippines

The Philippine bank is removing transfer fees to encourage cashless transactions and support the central bank’s regulatory direction for digital payments

RCBC is offering free InstaPay transfers across its digital banking platforms starting July 4, 2026.

The fee waiver applies to P2P fund transfers on the RCBC Pulz and RCBC DiskarTech apps. This aligns with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) regulatory direction to expand digital payments.

On the RCBC Pulz app, users can make up to 30 free InstaPay transfers per month for transactions of at least PHP 100.

A standard fee of PHP 10 applies once the monthly limit is reached or for transfers below the minimum amount.

Transfers made through the RCBC DiskarTech app will remain completely free with no minimum amount or monthly cap.

The initiative supports BSP Circular No. 1238, which promotes fair, transparent, and market-based pricing for electronic fund transfers.

RCBC aims to encourage wider adoption of cashless transactions by removing one of the most frequent costs in everyday banking.

The fee waivers apply to two platforms designed for different customer segments.

RCBC Pulz provides broader digital banking services, including foreign exchange, unit investment trust funds, loan applications, and a US virtual account that does not require a US address or residency.

RCBC DiskarTech functions as a financial inclusion-focused digital banking app, offering savings, bills payment, mobile load, and the MySSS Card developed with the Social Security System.
