With so much to do and so little time in the fast-paced world, coupled with daily innovations that may make it seem harder to keep up, Filipinos from every corner of the nation can rely on a fintech app like RCBC DiskarTech to keep them going.

RCBC DiskarTech, powered by the nation’s leading universal bank, brings together all online financial services to our fingertips including banking, bills payment, remittance, loans, and even insurance.

As the Philippines’ first multi-lingual app with Taglish and Cebuano languages, it targets consumers aged 22-55 living in the provinces, who aren’t yet reachable by brick-and-mortar and other digital banking services.

The app’s loan products, in collaboration with Asialink Finance Corp, cover doctor’s loans, vehicle loans, and even housing, business, and agricultural loans.

Consumers from far-flung areas can open digital savings accounts without having to queue at commercial banks through RCBC DiskarTech, without the need for an initial deposit, and zero maintaining balance. What makes it more attractive is the 3.25% per annum interest.

They can do cash in and cash out in their over 80, 000 agents nationwide or at RCBC ATM and ATM Go nationwide. They can also use the money they stored for paying bills, sending money, and buying prepaid load.

Since RCBC DiskarTech accounts are Basic Deposit Accounts (BDA) of RCBC, deposits are insured by the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corp.

The insurance products cover for commuters, riders, sari-sari store owners, and senior citizens with accidental, death, hospital, and disablement benefits, and even COVID-19 and dengue.

Aside from these, consumers can also experience safe fund transfer, use of QR code, pay government transactions, and have virtual check-up through Telemedicine.

The Telemedicine services range from 24/7 access to PNT call center nurses and doctors, medical consultation, video, audio, and text-based service interactions, electronic prescriptions, medical certificates, and laboratory requests.

Users can enjoy unlimited access to medical consultations under Telemedicine via the RCBC Diskartech app for as low as P50 per month.

The app also allows consumers to generate income of as much as P50,000 per month for verified users, by referring other users to the app.

It also features RCBC DiskarTech Lite as a partner in the payout for cash assistance or ayuda, having already partnered with the Department of Social Welfare and Development for its Social Amelioration Program during the pandemic.

As RCBC DiskarTech caters to all madiskarteng Filipinos from every walks of life, the app abide by its key message “Kasama mo ang RCBC DiskarTech sa iyong pag-asenso.”

RCBC DiskarTech also assures, encourages, and gives its consumers the confidence to use the app to succeed in their business ventures.

To further engage the public in pursuing innovative banking services, RCBC launched “Moneybela”, the Philippines’ first mobile human-assisted remote banking service.

RCBC Moneybela gives underserved and unbanked Filipinos access to the same financial services offered by physical banks, such as basic deposit account creation, bill payments, e-load, cash in or cash out, micro insurance, and telemedicine purchase via DiskarTech.

Moneybela: Barangayan Banking is part of RCBC’s continuous push to create an inclusive financial ecosystem in the country that caters to unbanked Filipinos in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas.

This initiative will benefit 42,000 barangays nationwide with the opportunity to access financial services bundled with agent-assisted financial education.

RCBC Moneybela’s Banking Experience Support (BES) agents will go to communities where banks and other financial services are not commonly accessible to directly serve unbanked Filipinos.

Top RCBC ATM Go merchant partners in all 82 provinces in the country would serve as Moneybela BES agents that will visit hard-to-reach areas to enable more Filipinos to have access to financial services.

The Moneybela electric tricycles will also provide financial literacy and agent banking services in public transport terminals, public markets, schools, barangay halls, and health centers to make it accessible to as many people as possible.

Having so many available products and services that people can choose from, RCBC DiskarTech encourages users: “Diskartehan Natin ‘Yan!.”
