Millions of Social Security System (SSS) members can now enjoy unlimited free InstaPay fund transfers through the MySSS Card powered by RCBC DiskarTech, a move that Finance Secretary and Social Security Commission (SSC) Chairman Frederick D. Go hailed as another major step toward making digital financial services more affordable, accessible, and inclusive for Filipinos.

The initiative allows active SSS members, pensioners, and beneficiaries using the MySSS Card powered by RCBC DiskarTech to transfer funds via InstaPay without incurring transaction fees through the RCBC DiskarTech app. By removing transfer costs, members are able to maximize the value of their benefits, giving them more funds for daily expenses, savings, or investments.

Since the platform’s launch in October last year, more than P2.4 billion in SSS benefits have already been disbursed through RCBC DiskarTech, providing members with a fast, secure, and convenient digital channel for receiving benefits while expanding their access to the country’s growing digital financial ecosystem.

Go highlighted the importance of strong collaboration between the government and the private sector in advancing financial inclusion.

“This initiative delivers real benefits to Filipinos. Every peso saved from free digital transfers is additional value for SSS members while supporting our goal of accelerating digital payments and financial inclusion as envisioned by President Marcos Jr.,” Go said.

RCBC Executive Vice President and Chief Innovations and Inclusion Officer Lito Villanueva said the program reflects the bank’s continued commitment to making digital banking more rewarding and accessible for every Filipino.

“Close to P2.5 billion in SSS benefits have already been credited through RCBC DiskarTech accounts. By offering unlimited free InstaPay transfers, we are rewarding customer loyalty, helping members maximize every peso they receive, and making digital banking more accessible for millions of Filipinos,” Villanueva said.

For SSS President and Chief Executive Officer Robert Joseph M. de Claro, the partnership delivers benefits that go well beyond digital disbursement.

“Our partnership with RCBC goes beyond benefit disbursement. It gives SSS members a safe, convenient, and affordable way to manage their finances while encouraging greater participation in the digital economy. And soon, this facility will also allow members to avail of SSS loans digitally,” de Claro said.

The latest offering further strengthens the successful collaboration between SSS and RCBC through the MySSS Card powered by RCBC DiskarTech, which provides members with a secure, feature-rich digital banking platform.

In addition to receiving SSS benefits and loan proceeds, cardholders can instantly transfer funds, pay bills, purchase prepaid mobile load, build their savings, and access an expanding suite of digital financial services through the RCBC DiskarTech app—all while enjoying unlimited free InstaPay transfers.

The initiative also supports the Philippine government’s push toward a cash-lite economy by encouraging wider adoption of secure, affordable, and interoperable digital payment channels while advancing financial inclusion for millions of Filipinos nationwide.

RCBC’s efforts have also earned industry recognition. The bank has been named SSS Balikat ng Bayan Best Disbursement Partner – Digital Category for three consecutive years, recognizing its leadership in digitally disbursing the highest volume of SSS benefits through the RCBC DiskarTech platform.
